Enrolment Requirements

What is Dual Enrollment?
Dual Enrollment is a pathway that enables high school students to take college-level courses while completing their high school education. Students earn both high school and college credits simultaneously, allowing them to fulfill high school graduation requirements while also making progress toward a college degree. Participants in the program have access to the same resources as full-time college students at U.S. institutions, including instruction from college professors and access to academic support services.
Dual Enrollment vs. Dual Credit
Dual Enrollment allows high school students to take college-level courses while still enrolled in high school. These courses are taught by college instructors and provide students with the opportunity to earn college credit. However, dual enrollment courses do not count toward high school graduation requirements—only college credit is earned.
Dual Credit means students earn both high school and college credits simultaneously. These courses are specifically approved by the student’s high school to ensure they meet high school graduation requirements while also allowing the student to earn college credit.
How We Support Dual Credit Applications
Our team is dedicated to supporting students throughout the dual credit application process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. We assist with completing dual credit applications through local high schools, helping students navigate the necessary steps with ease. Additionally, we work closely with students to ensure their selected courses meet both high school graduation and college credit requirements.
