What is Dual Enrolment?
Dual enrolment offers international high school students the opportunity to take college-level courses while completing their secondary education. By earning college credits early, students can reduce both the time and cost required to complete a degree at American universities. Dual enrolment students receive instruction from university faculty and gain access to the same academic resources and support services available to full-time college students - providing a seamless and enriched transition into American university pathways.
Dual Enrolment vs. Dual Credit
Dual Enrolment allows high school students to take college-level courses while still enrolled in high school. These courses are taught by college instructors and provide students with the opportunity to earn college credit. However, dual enrolment courses do not count toward high school graduation requirements—only college credit is earned.
Dual Credit means students earn both high school and college credits simultaneously. These courses are specifically approved by the student’s high school to ensure they meet high school graduation requirements while also allowing the student to earn college credit.
How We Support Dual Credit Applications
Our team is dedicated to supporting international students throughout the dual credit application process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. We assist with completing dual credit applications through local high schools, helping students navigate the necessary steps with ease. Additionally, we work closely with students to ensure their selected courses meet both high school graduation and college credit requirements. Throughout the credit approval process, we provide ongoing guidance and support, addressing any questions or challenges that may arise.
